Diamond Monarx Castle is a modern castle — real stone, real battlements, real turrets against the prairie sky. Mike spent years building it by hand, with Robbie at his side, honoring the woman who deserved a monument.
The castle features multi-level wraparound terraces, a rooftop mosaic courtyard with a hand-laid geometric diamond pattern, and a rooftop deck with unobstructed views stretching all the way to the state capital. At night, the sky above Denton is extraordinary — far from city light, the stars are a ceiling unto themselves.
Below, a 40,000-gallon swim pond sits at the base of the castle, lit each evening in color. An outdoor patio features a mesmerizing vortex water and fire feature. The surrounding landscape was designed with pollinators in mind — alive with native plants, wildlife, and the quiet hum of a living ecosystem. Just across the road, Conestoga Lake offers fishing steps from the front door.

From the rooftop and upper terraces, Lincoln’s iconic Capitol dome rises on the eastern horizon. On clear days the silhouette is unmistakable — a reminder that this wild, beautiful place is still connected to the world.
Night Sky West of Lincoln
Far enough from the city glow to see the Milky Way on summer nights. The Diamond Monarx grounds face open prairie to the west, and after dark the sky opens up in a way that most Nebraskans have forgotten is possible.
Diamond Swim Pond
The in-ground natural swim pond is 40,000 gallons and cut in a diamond geometry that mirrors the south staircase of the castle — a design detail that only reveals itself from above. Lit each night in color, it reflects the castle walls like a living jewel.
Pollinator Haven
Native plantings throughout the grounds support a thriving ecosystem of bees, butterflies, and dragonflies. The pollinator corridors were planted intentionally — part garden, part wildlife refuge, entirely alive with movement in the warm months.
